CELTIC GODS AND GODDESSES
Gods
- Alator - Associated with Mars, his name is said to mean "He who nourishes the people".
- Albiorix- Associated with Mars, his name means "King of the world".
- Balor - God of Death
- Belenus- Healing god who has been linked to Apollo and to Beltaine. Also known as Belenos, Belinos, Bel, Bellinus, Belus, and Belinu.
- Borvo- God of healing springs associated with Apollo. Depicted with a helmet and shield.
- Bres- God of agriculture. Son of Elatha and Eriu. Married Bridgit. A tyranical ruler who taught agriculture and made Ireland fertile in exchange for his own life.
- Cernunnos- The horned one. Associated with fertility, nature, wealth, the underwold and death. Also associated with horned animals suchas as the stag, the bull, and the ram-headed snake. It is said that he is born at the winter solstice and dies at the summer solstice.
- Esus- Linked with Taranis, Teutates, Mars and Mercury. God of rituals involving human sacrifice. May have been a woodcutter.
- Latobius- God of Mountains and sky. Linked with Mars and Jupiter.
- Lenus- God of healing. Also known as Iovantucarus and Mars.
- Lovantucarus - God of healing. AKA Lenus and Mars.
- Lugh- Solar deity and god of craftsmanship
- Maponus - God of poetry and music who was also known in Greek mythology as Apollo.
- Nuada - God of healing and much more. Killed by Balor. Lost a hand in battle, making him inelligble for the throne of king until his brother forged a replacement hand of silver. Nuada owned an invincible sword with the ability to cut his enemies in half.
Goddesses
- Brigantia- Equated with Minerva(Roman). Possibly linked to Bridgit. Connected to river and water cults.
- Bridgit- Goddess of poetry, fire, fertility, cattle, healing, and matron of smiths. Connected to the Roman goddesses, Minerva and Vesta. Also known as Brighid and Brigantia and is referred to in Christianity as St. Brigit or Brigid.
- Ceridwen- The shapeshifting goddess of poetic inspiration. She keeps a cauldron of wisdom and is the mother of Taliesin.
- Danu - The Crone. Also known as Mab, Danu is one form of the Triple Goddess.
- Epona - Goddess of horses. Associated with cornicopias, donkeys, mules, fertility, and oxen. She is the only Celtic goddess who was worshipped by the Romans, who built a temple dedicated to her in Rome.

- Morrigan - A form of the Triple goddess, Morrigan is the goddess of war, mystery, magick, and all things related to the darkness
- Nehalennia - Goddess of sea, abundance, and fertility
